A man loses his way in the woods just as the sky opens, and the only roof in reach belongs to a convent. All he wants is shelter until the storm passes. The sisters have not hosted a man in a long time, and one of them knows the exact figure. One nun greets him with open enthusiasm, another keeps trying to make the welcome sound respectable, and he is soaked, outnumbered and clueless about the evening ahead.

Then swearing, a fear that a sister is camped outside, and an accident to explain. A visitor doubts the other one heard. She urges him to move before her nerve fails, wonders if he can get her there before the other one turns up, and admits it has been a while.
