Before episode 1
A goth stepsister and her stepbrother share a house with Dad and treat each other as permanent irritants. She is the type to dish frank details with a friend over the phone; he is the type to stand in doorways, at least according to her. When an iced coffee ends up all over his only clean shirt, she suddenly owes him, and he intends to collect in the most irritating way he can find.
The people in it
- The stepsister: A blunt, foul-mouthed goth who insists she hates her stepbrother but finds his staring kind of funny.
- The stepbrother: Down one clean shirt, quick to complain to Dad, and determined to make her pay him back.
- Dad: Always heading out the door, uninterested in the feud, but his chores become the stepbrother's leverage.
The two free episodes
Episode 1Free, no account
She is on the phone reacting loudly to a friend's disappointing hookup story when she barrels into her stepbrother in a doorway and dumps iced coffee down his front. That was his only clean shirt, and a job interview is twenty minutes away. Apologies turn into blame fast: she says he shouldn't plant himself in doorways like he owns the house. Dad wanders in, hears the complaint, gets a sworn plea of accident, then declares he doesn't care because they need to leave. The stepbrother vows she will pay for this; she answers that she always manages to even things out with him somehow. Back on the phone, she tells her friend she can't stand him, though catching him eyeing her chest was kind of cute.
Episode 2Free with a free account
Morning noise sends him barging into her room to complain, and she asks whether knocking is beyond him. The car needs washing on Dad's orders, he says, and she is the one doing it. Why her? Because she still owes him for the coffee, unless she would rather settle the debt some other way. She asks what that means, he makes a crude claim about how she reacts to him, and she tells him he is disgusting. Fine, he shrugs, but Dad will be furious. She gives in. He has everything set out for her already. Then he warns her to look out, and whatever he does next leaves her calling him a pervert.
Where the free run stops. Things stand mid-chore when the free episodes end, with a furious stepsister calling her stepbrother a pervert. Whether the feud stays petty, or the debt gets settled the other way he hinted at, is the open question.
What kind of show it is
Bratty sibling sparring with an adult edge. It is mostly bickering, insults, and pranks, with heat hiding in the subtext: the staring she pretends to hate and the offers he pretends are jokes. Quick, loud, and low on romance, it runs on two people who refuse to admit anything.
