Before episode 1
Her mother married his father, and the blended household came with a feud built in. She claims she can't stand Cole. Cole claims she can't stop looking at him, and he may have a point. While the parents travel, Linda phones in to ask whether the two are getting along, and Cole has crowned himself boss of the house, rules and all. Every accidental touch becomes a fresh accusation, and neither of them backs down.
The people in it
- Cole: Her stepbrother, smug and relentless, convinced she wants him and happy to push until she admits it.
- His stepsister: Linda's daughter, a woman who swears she despises Cole yet keeps getting caught looking.
- Linda: Her mother and Cole's stepmom, calling from a trip to ask whether the household is at peace.
The two free episodes
Episode 1Free, no account
Cole warns his stepsister to watch the touching; she gags at the thought. Her mom married his dad, she reminds him, which doesn't oblige her to like him. Cole counters that, by his own decree, liking him is now house policy. His voiceover adds that she claims to hate him yet never stops staring. A squabble over who can reach what produces more bumping and more accusations. Then Linda calls from the trip to check on them; the stepsister calls him insufferable, and Cole assures Linda that she adores him. He accuses her of eyeing him ever since the wedding. She says winning her over would take a complete do-over as a person, which he turns into innuendo. She storms off to her room, wishing he'd disappear.
Episode 2Free with a free account
Into her bedroom he goes, announcing his rules; her first rule is that he leaves. He points out she's wearing makeup at bedtime and wonders who it's for. She claims she always wears it, he notes not at night, and she tells him to mind his own business. Linda calls again, asking if Cole is behaving. The stepsister says he's in his own room, and Cole calls her a liar. Then the act cracks: she says she hates him, he doubts it, and she admits she still doesn't like him, she just wants his hands on her.
Where the free run stops. Free viewing ends on her confession that she needs his touch while insisting she still dislikes him. With Linda checking in by phone, how long can this stay hidden, and is it even a truce?
What kind of show it is
Bickering enemies-to-something comedy, nearly all insults and comebacks until the final beat. Cole is cocky, she is prickly, and the heat comes from the friction. Linda's check-in calls add a ticking clock and a running joke about who's lying. Quick, petty, and teasing.
