Before episode 1
He has a desk job, a screen and a habit: watching Softbunnyxo, a cosplay streamer whose armored act has him hooked. His boss, who likes him well enough, has caught him at it too often and warns that the next slip costs him the job. Down the row sits Lily from Desk C, polite and easy to overlook. The stakes are his paycheck, his crush, and a growing suspicion that the two women on his mind might be one and the same.
The people in it
- The office worker: A distracted fan who would rather watch his favorite streamer than do the job he is paid for.
- The boss: A sharp-eyed supervisor who actually likes him and is running out of patience with his fandom.
- Lily: The coworker from Desk C, grateful for a kindness and wearing a very familiar white rabbit charm.
- Softbunnyxo: The Cosplay Queen herself, glamorous and commanding on the carpet, and curious about the fan chasing her.
The two free episodes
Episode 1Free, no account
His sparring session with an armored temptress, who calls him her lord, mocks his aim and dares him to keep looking, gets cut short by his boss. She guesses the bunny girl is distracting him again, says she likes him, and warns that if that streamer shows up on his screen once more he is finished. He wonders how she always catches him. Later he squeezes through to help Lily from Desk C with whatever she is carrying. She thanks him and says he is about the only person who ever stops; his heart does something he did not plan on. Then he spots her bracelet: the same white rabbit the streamer wears. Moments later an invitation lands: she saw him watching, and tonight he should come find her.
Episode 2Free with a free account
The doors open on a red-carpet night, and the crowd hails Softbunnyxo, the Cosplay Queen. She teases the room about being all theirs, an announcer whips up the applause, and he vows he will reach her tonight. Security steers him aside and tells him to stay seated; he insists he has to get in, then bolts with guards on his heels. He ducks through a door and finds the queen herself. He begs her to hide him; she does, and tells the guards she has seen nobody. Then she asks what he was after, a ticket or a show of his own. Her pendant matches Lily's. While he reels, she offers to show what's under the armor, starting now.
Where the free run stops. Backstage is where the free run halts, with the Cosplay Queen opening her private show while wearing a pendant that matches Lily's. Are the streamer and the coworker one woman? Nothing has confirmed it yet, and the free episodes leave that answer for later.
What kind of show it is
Crush comedy meets fan fantasy. The pace is brisk, scenes hop from desk to red carpet to backstage, and what heat there is stays in the buildup. He is a flustered fan, and every woman in his orbit, boss included, is a step ahead of him.
