Before episode 1
Mr. Kane runs the office, and his rule is simple: nobody walks out until the work is finished. One employee is still on the clock with a presentation to complete and, as it turns out, a promotion on the line. Over just a handful of lines, the formal title starts to slip, his first name, Damian, enters the picture, and the price of getting ahead gets stated out loud with no attempt at subtlety.
The people in it
- Mr. Kane (Damian): The boss: demanding about deadlines, and very particular about which name he hears afterward.
- The employee: Kept late to finish a presentation, always polite, and soon spelling out what a promotion might cost.
The two free episodes
Episode 1Free, no account
Six short lines carry the whole episode, so each one matters. Mr. Kane lays down the terms: the presentation gets finished before anyone goes home. The answer comes back crisp and formal, using his title. Next the employee reports the job complete, which in a normal office would mean coats on and lights off. Not here. Kane asks an odd question, what his name is, and receives the title again, the textbook office answer and plainly not the one he was fishing for. He presses, asking to hear it spoken. The reply is his first name, Damian, and the episode ends on that switch from boss to something more personal.
Episode 2Free with a free account
Even shorter, with three lines in total, the follow-up skips the small talk entirely. The employee puts the arrangement into words: sleeping with the boss equals the promotion. It is said flatly, with no dressing up. Then comes a stammer, a half-formed objection that never reaches the end of its sentence. The response, presumably from Kane, treats the hesitation as the only obstacle left and tells the employee that shyness is no longer an option. That is every word the episode offers, and it is enough to make the deal unmistakable, even if nobody has actually said yes.
Where the free run stops. An unfinished objection and a push to drop the shyness are all the free part leaves behind. Whether the employee accepts the deal, and whether Damian keeps his side of it, remains open.
What kind of show it is
Minimal and blunt: a power-play office fantasy told in a handful of lines, with very little spoken and a lot implied. Kane commands, the employee complies, and the whole dynamic rests on names and titles. There is almost no plot to speak of, just a boss, a deadline and a very direct bargain.
